ODF LISA is now ready for ribbon
The Optical Distribution Frame LISA (ODF LISA) is now ready for ribbon integration. This versatile ODF is ideal for a variety of applications in data centers and central offices, providing an efficient way to manage your fiber optic connections.
Key features of ODF LISA
The ODF LISA serves multiple critical functions, as illustrated below:
- Customer demarcation cabling: Consolidates cabling in intermediate distribution areas (IDAs), facilitating cross-connections to other IDAs or meet-me-rooms.
- Central cross-connect point: Acts as a primary hub for the entire fiber backbone within meet-me-rooms.
- Building entry point (BEP): It can also be used in building entry point (BEP) to present outside cables on connectors, making integration seamless.
ODF LISA Variants
Here are some notable designs of the ODF LISA:
1. ODF LISA 1500: Ribbon splice to patch for 180 cassettes
- Capacity: Supports up to 25,920 fibers using 2,160 MTP-12 connectors, as well as LC, SC, VSFF, and other connectors. The system supports a capacity of 6480 fibers with LC connectors.
- Dimensions: Compact footprint of 1.5m x 0.3m and 2.2m height.
- Cable entry: Flexible entry options from the top or bottom.
- Patch cord compatibility: Most cross-connections can be achieved using 3.5m patch cords.
Use Case: Ideal for meet-me-rooms, where ODFs can be placed side-by-side for comprehensive cross-connection capabilities.
2. ODF LISA 900: Ribbon splice to patch for 90 cassettes
- Capacity: Accommodates up to 12,960 fibers with 1,080 MTP-12, 3240 fibers with LC, SC, VSFF, and other connectors.
- Dimensions: Compact size of 0.9m x 0.3m and 2.2m height.
- Cable Entry: Allows top or bottom entry.
- Patch Cord Compatibility: Requires 3.5m or 5.0m patch cords for cross-connections.
Use Case: Perfect for intermediate distribution areas to aggregate cabling from customer cages, or as a scaled-down version of the ODF LISA 1500 in meet-me-rooms.
3. ODF LISA 700: Ribbon splice to patch for 15 cassettes
- Capacity: Supports up to 2,160 fibers using 180 MTP-12 connectors and 540 fibers with LC.
- Dimensions: Wall-mounted option with a height of 900mm and width of 700mm.
- Cable Entry: Supports top or bottom entry.
- Patch cord compatibility: 3m patch cords for all cross-connections.
Use Case: Suitable for building entry points to present outside cables, or as an end-of-row aggregation point in meet-me-rooms.
Versatile cable support
The ODF LISA supports a variety of cable types, including high-fiber ribbon cables, smaller indoor ribbon cables, non-ribbon cables, and loose-tube cables. Its modular design allows for a wide range of configurations to meet your specific needs.
